Seattle Bride Article Here

“Joey’s[pro photographer] attention to such minute detail went way beyond “Say cheese” and brought out the couple’s absolute best.”

This is such a touchy topic among wedding photographers. Often times we hear of the wedding in which no photographer was hired but that the family had an aunt or an uncle with a newly purchased Nikon DXX/Canon shoot everything. I have to wonder – 10 years down the road when the couple is going through their photographs, are they happy with what was shot?  Did ‘Uncle Bob’ take into careful consideration lighting, composition, exposure and all the other items that go along with capturing all the special moments?

I encourage all to read the above article as I believe the author put everything very eloquently and gives great examples as to the difference between the amateur and the pro.

New addition to the Neil Timmin’s Home Selling Team

We were given the opportunity to photograph Jason for a new business portrait. Good guy and a great family. Neil has a website photograph/logo that shows his whole team from a perspective of ‘looking up’ set against a white background. So the dirty floor and drain in the last shots will not be in the final picture. Wanted to show off the great shots we got!

My brother the actor

We took a little “break” from the wedding and engagement action to head down to Kansas City, Missouri. There, we met up with my brother and his girlfriend for some headshots. It was a nice relaxing time involving excellent KC BBQ (Oklahoma Joe’s FTW!). We also spent some time down at Union Station and at the Nelson art gallery. A wonderful time and we’d like to go visit again soon.
